hi @AndyB57

I am guessing your Sony DVD surround system does not support ARC

Without knowing the capability of your Surround system and AV pass through then my best guess is as follows :

If your LG OLED TV has an optical out then I would suggest that best way is to use an optical from your TV to the DVD surround system & use an HDMI direct from your SKY HD box into the TV (not the one labelled (e)ARC)

Check the Sound settings in the TV to ensure the audio output set to bitstream (or Dolby digital) assuming your Surround System can handle DD

I'd observe that the concept of a home cinema speaker system built around a DVD player is now rather antique, and pre-dates both OLED televisions and the Sky Q platform. It's much more of a Sky+ era thing, but that can itself cause issues with current TV models.
