Sky box not working in second room

Just returned from 2 weeks away and sky box is now not working in spare room.

I have a sky + hd box in both rooms but just the basic entertainment package in main room and this is working fine.

The spare room box runs off a separate cable from the lnb and has always picked up the basic freeview channels ok which is all we need in the kitchen.

Have sky somehow changed the broadcasting signal which has stopped my spare room box from working? The TV is ok when connected to main box so can not think what the problem is.

SKY & some FTA channels did change their transmission of the SD channels but that was many months ago now & the change just meant that the old SD only boxes would not work - any HD boxes are unaffected (technically SD & HD channels now use the same method)

If you are having problems receiving the FTA channels on one box but they are OK on the other then either the box or the cabling are faulty

Can you try swapping the boxes over to see if it the cabling or the box ?
