No red button on Sky F1 HD

I've just been trying to watch the first practice session of the new F1 season on Sky F1 HD but there was no red button to access the extra content (timing screen etc)

I normally use the sky sports app to access the onboards etc, but as that wasnt working either I went to try the red button instead.

I hope it's fixed in time for the next session at 5am.

You have posted on the Sky+ board. There is no red button function on Sky+. Sky removed it permanently from this platform last year,

It's been removed?! I must have missed that announcement. As I said I don't normally use it so I wasn't aware it had gone. I know I did use it at some point last year when I had a similar problem with the sky sports app not working, and it was active then, so I assumed it would still be available.

Annoying, but thanks for the information.

As mentioned in the link that @Daniel0210 gave, you should find the streams that used to be on the red button & newer ones during live shows in the SKY Sports App which works on mobile devices (Tablets & phones) - unfortunately no longer on deskop PCs & MACs

The App also has highlights etc

@nigea99Yes thanks. I normally use the Sky Sports App, but that wasn't working which is why I tried to access it using the red button, not realising it had been removed. However, I've been on the phone to Sky, so hopefully the Sky Sports app problem is now resolved and I should be back in business again tomorrow morning..
