If you subscribe to Sky Cinema you get some Paramount+ programmes via On Demand. However, for the full experience you need a Sky box capable of streaming apps, such as Sky Q or Sky Stream.

Thanks everyone. I have spoken to Sky to try to get Paramount+ through my Sky+HD box, and was informed that it is not possible to do so. I can get it via Sky Go on computer or 'phone but not through the box. Otherwise I have to get Sky Q and get it that way.

As per my post above @JW50 what you have been told isn't completely correct as you can view selected content via Catchup > Paramount +

I really appreciate your reply. however when I go to Catch up > Paramount+ and try to download in SD any of the programmes, the message comes up 'To watch this on demand please contact Sky to upgrade your subscription'. When I do that the result is as previously posted. But thanks anyway.

No, I do not subscribe to Sky Cinema. When I called Sky they offered me that with Paramount+ included. However I had read online that Paramount+ with Sky Cinema is not available through a Sky+HD Box, only through Sky Q.. The Sky responder thought I was wrong but went off to check and came back 2 minutes later to say he was wrong and I was right. I could get Paramount+ through a direct subscription but only via Sky Go on a computer or 'phone, not through the Sky+ box.

As I posted previously, you need to subscribe to Sky Cinema to get Paramount+ on a Sky+HD box, via On Demand. Yes, you can sign up independently with Paramount+ and watch via an app on a mobile etc, but you can't get Paramount+ on a Sky+ box via an app as Sky+ boxes can't host apps.

Thanks for that. I can only repeat what I said previously that I had read online that if you want Paramount+ with Sky Cinema through a Sky Box, it is NOT available through a Sky+HD Box and only through a Sky Q Box - and the Sky responder confirmed this. Bearing in mind they are geared to making sales, he would have told me otherwise if that were the case having tried to sell me a heavily discounted 24 month contract.

A limited range of Paramount content is available on-demand to Sky Cinema subscribers still using Sky+ HD
