Upgrade to sky Q cost

I would like to upgrade to sky Q but can find no info regarding cost etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@MPB2 Have you received an email from Sky regarding this? You would be best calling Sky to discuss your options as the community can't give you any deals.#

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
(UK) https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number
(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.

Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

@MPB2 there was at one time a free upgrade offer which involved you taking a Multiscreen subscription and one of the lower spec Sky Q boxes. I don't know if that is still available. If they're important to you, I'd check that the Sky Q box offered is capable of HDR and allows the number of Multiscreen boxes you want to use.

As others have said it can often be upgraded for free but free in this context may also come with strings
