      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/4274312"&gt;@Gwenda1&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;your mum's Sky+ box hasn't received updates for more than 12 months. It won't stop working as a result, so there's no immediate need for her to switch to Sky Q if she's happy with her current box.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;All hard drives fail, though, so it will eventually stop working at which point she will have to switch. Note also that there's no longer any engineer support for Sky+ equipment so in the event of a dish problem she will again need to switch.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
