I'm very disappointed with Sky's customer service. I've been a customer for 16 years paying over £100 a month and now have to tell my family we cannot use Skys TV over Christmas 😞

Sky won't be sending an engineer at all if you have Sky+ (where you've posted) as that platform is no longer supported.

You can close your forum account which will anonymise the thread here if you wish: https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/personal-profile%3Aclose-account

To be fair your Sky+ box, dish etc is yours. Sky are under no obligation to fix it at all.
