&lt;P&gt;That hasn't happened.&amp;nbsp; Sky+ HD boxes won't receive updates because they were last manufactured in 2015 and haven't been available to new users for several years, but existing in-use hardware will remain viable.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Your building management does need to know that it's no longer possible for users to replace failed Sky+ hardware though: Sky only offers Q or Glass/Stream.&amp;nbsp; Also be aware that all satellite television transmission is likely to cease around the turn of the decade.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Sky +HD box has strong signal but poor input . BBC itv channel 4 and few others not getting signal. Some with distorted signal. Reset several times .this started few weeks ago. Last few days gone totally. Sky should not of switched box updates off for communal satellite receivers. Our building can't get Sky Q. They should of.done community consultation.       <description>&lt;P&gt;This has nothing to do with software updates. In fact, your Sky+ box hasn't had an up date for more than 12 months already.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;This is to do with the signal from your communal dish. Speak to your landlord or your buildings management people as they're responsible for it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Thanks some stations also distorted. Dish has probably moved slightly happend before. Also workmen had power off. Few days later this started intermittently . Will speak to manager.</description>
