Sky plus finished?

We have a sky plus box and multi room. Our subscription has come up for renewal (in fact it's ended). Sky are telling us we need to have sky Q or sky stream now. Sky Q has a charge for the box. Is sky plus really not available any more?

Please Note: Sky+ is now a legacy service that Sky are replacing with their newer services: Sky Q (all issues will be fixed during a Sky Q install), Sky Glass and Sky Stream

Existing Sky Plus HD customers don't need to upgrade, yet 🙂 Sky will not provide Sky Plus to new or returning customers

Your subscription doesn't end until you end it. Do you mean that your minimum term discount has ended and you're now paying full list price?

If so, it's unclear whether Sky are now offering new minimum term discounts to Sky+ HD customers without switching to Sky Q.
