Constant red light on remote

My Sky remote has a constant red light, nothing is working on the remote.

I've removed the batteries and the light goes off.

I've tried holding the select button for 30 seconds to reset it. Nothing happens, tried different batteries, light just remains constantly on.

Any ideas?

Took it apart and cleaned it all, put back together now the light isn't coming on at all.

Sounds like you'll need to replace it. You can buy one from your local supermarket or hardware store, or more expensively via the Sky Accessories shop.
