@Matt+Barrick Only the linear channel is available on sky plus, red button functionality is not available for that you would need to either upgrade to sky Q or glass or stream or use the app on a mobile device

@caesarome I get a message asking me to sign up but I have and it's been working for about a week. Rang Sky and they told me I need Q box (not true) and when I said cancel it they then said it was a temporary glitch and to give it 3 hours...funny how the threat of cancelling changed the advice

You mean via your mobile device, and f so do you have the full Sky Sports subscription on your package, if so what is actually happening, what onscreen messages do you see ?

Customers with Sky+ (with the full sports subscription) will receive the new Sky Sports+ Channel (412), but will not have access to the live streams as Sky+ is not compatible with the Sky Sports App.

Even though the SKY box doesn't support the new Sky Sports app that is showing the alternative games you can use the app on a mobile device such as iphone/ipad or Android mobile or tablet (but unfortunately not on a desktop).

I don't have full sports, I only signed up for sky sports plus...the new channel for EFL games. I get a similar message on the app... I'll try and paste a picture of it here. Basically tells me to sign up although I have. @caesarome @Daniel0210 @SKY1992bf

Not aware of that being an option as it's only available to subscribers to the whole Sky Sports subscription.

you need the sky sports complete pack to receive sky sports plus

why it would work previously I have no idea

if you can access 402/403 only this doesn't give access to 412

That's not the case...you can just get the new channel...£20 per month rolling contract. I signed up and has been working @Daniel0210

And it's on my bill too.

Maybe they've changed their mind!

@Matt+Barrick You can get football only (402/403) but this doesn't include the extra games on 412 or red button

sky has been quite clear on this in press release and media reports that only the complete sports package will grant access
