I have good signal and quality strength on my sky setup menu but have suddenly lost a lot of channels was advised could be the lnb so have replaced the lnb and still the same problem channels didnt pixelate or go funny they just disappeard

Do you have a Sky+HD box or an older standard definition Sky box?

older style box but i have the same problem on another non sky hd box

no its an older box but I am having the same problems on another box which is a hd box

checked out your q48 i understand that I cannot rx ch5 hd on my old box but that does not explain why I have lost channels as I can get ch5 hd and other hd channels on my other box? Aand both boxes are working of my quad lnb

If you read my FAQ then that says the some SD channels sometime in August 2024 will not be accessible unless you have a HD box

Have you tried turning OFF your HD box at the mains for at least 5 minutes?

Performing a software update of the HD box can sometimes force the channel list to refresh

Done all that going to get a second had sky hd box and see if prolem still persists if so just have to bite the bullet and get a satellite installer to have a look to see if there is any other problem thanks for the help
