since january im not able to watch bbc channels on one of my tvs with the multi room sky box .

it says i need to call to receive hd channel , this number doesnt exist ??

I don't think a new install will help. It sounds like they still have an old SD box. These lost the BBC channels in January. The only solution is to switch to a HD box.

Oh well, it can't be a big deal for them as it's only taken 7 months or so to complain 🙂

I guess they thought everyone who needed to call would do it in a timely manner rather than waiting over half a year, thus disabling the number 🙂

Anyhow I would have thought that phoning the normal Sky number would be a simple solution

I don't know if your multiroom box can be different to your main box but if it is only an SD box then it will also loose SKY channels later this month.

If this is the case you could look for a second hand HD box

The "To get HD call..." number shown on SD boxes is an old zero-eight-four-four number (I had to type it out due to forum block on phone numbers) that was phased out in 2014 when Sky switched to 03 numbers. The SD box software was last updated well over a decade ago and many of the listed phone numbers and websites no longer exist.
