Red button and text button on remote does not load

Text and red button on sky+ remote will not connect with the service.Message says check your broadband,that is okay,have tried a re boot but still the same.

Service was fine yesterday but nothing to day.

Working fine here on BBC One so it's not an issue at Sky's end.

Is it possibly a problem with set top box?

Or is it the Internet connection to the TV from the router.

Any suggestions welcome,last resort a factory reset for the +box but looses all item saved.

All I get text wait then a message to check Internet connection but that works fine on catch up.

Ok. So Ch 101 (which for me is BBC One Yorks) works fine. But 102 and 503 don't work. Assume you are in a different region to me?

So probably a BBC issue.

Been told by Sky bot service text service on sky + finished.yesterday due to soft water problems,eventually the sky+ box will stop working all together,suggested switching to sky q.

Can you get a text service on sky q as it comes in handy for news etc?

To be clear, Sky+HD boxes won't stop working (unless they become faulty).

Just you can not get red button or text service according to them as that service was switched off yesterday,would have been nice to be told.

As an experiment I tried BBC1 West Yorkshire (Channnel 954 on my TV) and it worked I I got the red Button to work! and was able to read the news as usual. What is going on???

More Experiments. The one's that seem to work are in the NE and NW of England. Not the Midlands nor the South. Scotland does not work either. Have not tried Wales yet.
