Cannot use search function on sky box

Hi,

my search function has stoppped working on my sky + box.

I also cannot download to the box from my Sky Go app.

These were working fine a few days ago.

Has Sky disabled these?

For both you need an internet connection to the box so assuming you have no issue with the internet connection in your property have you tried a reboot of your Sky box ?

Hi,

yes internet is ok.

and have rebooted.

worried that this is now the end of my sky + box.
Tried Sky q and it just doesn't work as well for our house.

@EGF If you take a look in Services > Settings > Network do both Connection To Router and Connection To On Demand say OK?

I'm 99% sure that you still get the offline search if the box has no broadband connection

Yes both connections ok.

its weird, I go to magnifying glass and press select and it jumps to TV guide.

Yes, so does mine. Always has. You don't need to go to the magnifying glass (although you can if you want). You just need to start typing whatever it is you're searching for from anywhere on the Home Page.

Can you download from the box itself?
