    <description>&lt;P&gt;An update.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My Sky+HD box is now working again.&amp;nbsp; I 'fixed' it by inserting and taking out the viewing card quickly lots of times over a period of around 30 seconds.&amp;nbsp; Then left it inserted and the subscription channels are now available.&amp;nbsp; Perhaps there was some debris or dust inside the box preventing the chip on the card contacting the card reader.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Both my old viewing card and new viewing card work.&amp;nbsp; However I have left the new one in.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I may now cancel Sky Q installation as I have been thinking that over people in the house won't be able to get to grips with it as they are used to Sky+HD.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I wonder if I will get the £49 reimbursed?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Oh and while I'm on here, how do I edit posts?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a Sky+HD box, and have it for many years.&amp;nbsp; Today for some reason I decided to remove the viewing card.&amp;nbsp; I have no idea why!&amp;nbsp; Anyway I inserted it, and on the subscription channels, message came up on the screen stating:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"There is a problem with your viewing card.&amp;nbsp; Ensure your Sky viewing card is correctly inserted"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's definitely inserted corectly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I go to&amp;nbsp; Services - Settings - Details - Viewing Card Number - it says 'no card'&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Would you know why this is, please?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Theviewing card nmber commences with a '5'&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Sky didn't mention that.&amp;nbsp; But I think now is the time for me to move to Sky Q as the new Sky Sports+ begins in August and they will have a lot of Football from the EFL on it which isn't available on Sky+HD boxes.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Putting it kindly, it seems to be a bit of a misconception amongst some advisers. Sky+HD boxes will continue to work normally for the foreseeable future. It's the non-HD Sky+ boxes that will be unable to receive Sky channels from August. That's because the Sky SD channels are moving to&amp;nbsp; DVB-S2 transponders which those boxes can't receive Sky+HD boxes can, however.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
