    <description>&lt;P&gt;That would have been a refurbished box. Even the most recent boxes were manufactured as long ago as 2015/2016. Sky no longer provide new subscriptions for Sky+ boxes.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I threatened to leave sky as I no longer use it. I was offered a package as I am a broadband customer for a sky basic package. This should include sky showcase, Atlantic etc but I am now on the phone to be told I am paying to have the privilege of pausing and playing alone&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Sky Essentials is ALL the free channels with recording / playback enabled, you get none of the subscription channels&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Yes, that's correct. You get all the free to air channels, but pay for the ability to record/playback/pause.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you want access to Sky Atlantic etc. you need a subscription to the Signature package.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
