HDMI splitter over Cat6

I recently installed Cat 6 to 4 TV locations and then a OREI HDMI splitter capable of up to 8 Cat 6 outputs.

Connected the SKY + HDMI output to it, and all worked fine initilay. After a few days the signal works fine for a while, and now nort allways, but too often, if you change the Sky cahnel it comes up with a message no signal. Cant seem to get it back, and the same on all the Cat 6 outputs.

We have the ole TV locations on Co.ax, and that works fine, its just the HDMI splitter or maybe teh HDMI output on te Sky box.

If you go back the next day or an hour or so later, its all fine, until again, sometimes you change chjanels or look atb recordings.

Any advice would be welcome.

If the Sky box's HDMI output is connected directly to a TV next to it, does the same still happen?

My Sky box is in teh centre of teh house, so not near a TV.

I did have a single HDMI to Cat 6 unit, which worked perfectly, also made by OREI.

I could put thta back on for a few days and see if that OK.

Yes, I would recommend doing that. It would definitively show whether the box's HDMI output is faulty (personally I doubt it) or whether it's an issue with extender.
