Don’t have a viewing card

I don't have a viewing card in my box , it's an old box while I can get most of my channels suddenly I'm getting a message saying

There is a problem with your viewing card.

Ensure your sky viewing card is correctly inserted.

now I'm not getting my sky sports etc .
The box is not connected to a phone line as it's in a cupboard in my laundry.

Any help please ?

To watch any subscription channels like Sky Sports etc.. you require a viewing card, without a viewing card you only get the free channels BBC, ITV1 etc...

Are you 100% sure you have no card as it is hidden under a flap on the bottom-right of the front of a Sky box

I don't have a flap where the card is hidden. There is a slot saying interactive card but no card in it .

Do you have a viewing card number in the box settings?

Do you have a Sky Subscription?

Yes I have sky subscription plus all sports channels pay £56 a month

@Cazza151 you must have had a Viewing Card in order to receive Sky Sports channels. They're encrypted and only decrypted by the presence of your Card.

Just check the settings screens, IIRC it's on the Details screen where the model number of the box is shown

I've found the viewing card now what ??
it doesn't look very healthy??

If you mean the card looks burn then thats normal and nothing to be concerned about (See Q25 in my FAQ)

Try performing a New Install

You can't request one online. If you can't get through because staff are currently undergoing training, just try again later and you should be ok.
