Sky+HD picture keeps disappearing/returning

I really need some help, my sky picture keeps disappearing and returning. Its difficult to watch something.

Can someone please help??

You mean the screen goes completely black or blue? Or something else? Can you describe it?

Thank you for replying, yes it goes black and then returns. Very frequently, in fact every 2 - 3 mins. So we just stop watching sky.

Any help would be grateful mate.

Have you checked or replaced the HDMI cable between your Sky box and the TV? Try putting both the Sky box and TV in standby and unplugging the cable from both. Turn the ends over, so that the plug that was in the TV is now in the Sky box and vice versa. Also try using a different HDMI port at the TV end, if there's more than one. If neither makes any difference, the next step would be to replace the HDMI cable.
