    <description>&lt;P&gt;I would assume all recordings are now lost.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As noted above, Sky will not supply a replacement box - you'll have to source one yourself or upgrade to Q.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Even the youngest Sky+ HD boxes are now eight years old, so hard drive failure is increasingly likely.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Sky will want you to move to Sky Q rather than offering replacement hardware: if you don't wish to do this then late model HD boxes are about £30 on eBay.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

A full System Reset via the Installer Menu may restore normal working for a while but as &lt;a href="https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/2515311"&gt;@TimmyBGood&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;posted, the hard drive is likely on its last legs.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
