Sky box not working properly, ie switch off power, for around ten minutes, plug back in , select a chanel, press select, you get that chanel, and that"s it . can"t move to another program, The buttons on the sky box do not help either. WE need a new box please.

@GreatBritain If your box is a Sky+HD box Sky don't have any New boxes as they were last made over 7 years ago, you can purchase a second hand box yourself.

As @GD1 posted, there are no new Sky+HD boxes, but you can pick up a cheap used box from ebay etc. Look for a DRX890 or,DRX895 model and don’t plan on paying more than around £30.

However, before resorting to a replacement, try rebuilding your Planner as described here: https://www.sky.com/help/home/sky-tv/sky-tv-plus/sky-plus-watching-sky-tv/sky-plus-recordings/articles/recording-on-sky-plus-different-problem
