topic Sky remote in Sky+

Sky remote

All the buttons are working on my sky remote except the record button.

Can it be repaired or need a new one as I'm recording manually atm not ideal

I have a sky+box the sky remote number 8 isn't working I have inserted new batteries any ideas welcome.

Either clean it, as per @Annie+UK's post immediately before yours, or replace it. You can buy a new remote via Sky or an online seller such as Amazon, or in many cases via your local supermarket or hardware store.

Need more info clean it were around the number and no I don't want to purchase another remote

You did say any ideas welcome! As suggested clean the remote carefully as there might be a bit of dirt/dust stuck under the button.
