My first post so sorry if its not as concise as some others

I am still on Sky+. Some months ago I enquired about moving to Sky Q but when the engineers came to my home they said that the rewiring invoved would be so extensive as to be impractical so I stayed on Sky+ although I was sent a Sky Q viewing card that I have never used.

However Sky's online system thinks I am on Sky Q!

I have recently lost some channnels. It displays the message "The viewing card is not authorised" on my TV.

When I follow Sky's online help I don't get very far as it assumes I am using the new viewing card when I am still on the old.

Sky's online help just sends me round in circles!

Does anyone know how I get to speak to a real person to resolve my viewing card problem?

Use the Sky Q card and perform a New Install, if you don't have the card you'll have to get a new one from Sky as you old card will now be useless

New Install

See question Q21 in my Sky Plus F⋅A⋅Q

Additional help with your viewing card can be found here

You can contact Sky using the number here (See the "Need more help?" dropdown near the bottom of the page)

Note: Make sure you have the correct country flag selected in the bottom-right of the page

@Warwick64 the background to this is that when you order Sky Q your Sky+ Viewing Card is earmarked to be disabled at some point in the future - which is what has happened now. Unfortunately if the Sky Q order is not fulfilled for any reason, the earmark on your Viewing Card is not removed. The solution is as @Annie+UK posted - either use the Sky Q Viewing Card, if one was sent to you, or request a replacement Card from Sky.
