resizing picture on tv using handset

Hello,

Can someone please help. My husband was using the Sky handset to turn on our TV. I'm not sure which buttons he pressed, but the picture on the TV is now elongated and I can't seem to reset it to normal viewing.

The picture quality is only on the Sky channels acessed through the Sky Box . It's not on the streaming/internet channels acessed with another handset which is not a Sky one

I've tried turning on the Sky Box, going to picure setting, changing that, but it's still the same.

Your help would be mch appreciated

Press TV (control the TV ) then then the Play button then Sky (to go back to controlling the sky box)

Thanks for your reply Annie+UK,

I've tried your suggestion. A window pops up re Picture Size, showing arrows re Zoom and width, but I'm unable to selct either. When I press Select, the on- creen TV guide comes up and it changes that instead.

We don't have Sky Q our handset is and old one.

Would welcome another suggestions? Do you thinking the handset needs re-setting?

Thie sky+ remote only gives very basic generic TV functions, it's best to use the TV own remote as this will be able to control all the settings

Usually repeated presses on the play button after the TV button will cycle through all the screen ratios available
