Series link failure

I've just realised that episode 5 of happy valley did not record as it seems to have lost series link. Is this a conspiracy between sky and the BBC? I live in Ireland and pay sky a fortune but don't have the benefit of accessing BBC player. I'm so done with sky and will be switching providers when I'm next out of contract

The BBC are responsible for providing series link data for their broadcasts on Sky.

Yes, I thought that but why then do they put out penultimate episode with no link. So people tune in on BBC player!!

I suspect that it's more due to the ongoing changes that the BBC are making to channels. Ireland has changed in the past couple of weeks and this likely caused the Series Link to drop.

@oj01 except this isn't the first time a penultimate or final episode has been lost. Is soooo annoying when we pay so much. Will catch up on BBC player when in the UK in a few weeks

@KayM66 All I can add is that I rarely have an issue with Series Links and certainly didn't with Happy Valley.
