My email was hacked and I couldn't access emails.
I know keep receiving this message

please can someone help an non technology senior lady please.

Sky helped me change my password but now when I try to login in this keeps showing -

No password provided

for "Sky"

Please go to Mail

Account Settings and

enter a password

What device are you using to access your email?

Are you using an email app? Which one?

Can you log in here: https://www.sky.com/signin/email ? If not, what error message do you see?

I'm using iPhone, IPad, MacBook

I can sign in but it's now yahoo

iv also lost my notes on all appliances

everytime I try to go into mail settings and provide information requested it won't verify and the message appears

Have you tried logging in here and generating yourself a 16 digit password and using this with those devices:

If that's via the link I gave in my previous post, you'll be seeing Sky Yahoo Mail - that's normal, and you should find all your emails there, unless the hacker has deleted them (one of the pointless things they do) I'd suggest going to Settings (top right) then More Settings (at the bottom of the pop displayed) and check for anything in Filters (on the left) which you didn't set up.

There are known issues with the Mail app on your iphone etc. which can cause intermittent login problems - even when you've changed your password there. You might want to try again later.

By 'notes on all appliances', do you mean notes you've saved via Sky email's Notepad? If so, I'm afraid they'll be gone for good.

It's unlikely you were hacked. More likely you've clicked a link in a spam email asking you to upgrade, or verify your email account. The link will take you to a fake login page, where you'll have given away your username and password to a spammer. Just so you're aware, if you see similar emails in the future. Ask here if you're in any doubt whether such an email is genuine.
