My sky.com Email login-Email account locked everyday for last 7 days. Given phone number to ring to unlock account or put through to call handler. If I have automated response the solution is easy_ I follow instructions to reset password.

If I am put through to call handler I will be passed to several call handlers ,I spend normally an hour listening to waffle & nonsense.

I was told that sky.com & Yahoo were slowly being phased out & I would lose my email address etc & sky should have notified me. I was also told my problem was the router, VPM etc etc

Yesterday I was told to wait 48 hours before logging in as there were problems with Yahoo.

I asked for my account to be unlocked as a Temporary fix and manually reset my password ,

This last less than 24 hours before my account locked the following day.

Sky are unable to tell me the cause of the problem & what I need to do to stop this recurring nightmare.

I've made several complaints to no avail

When this happened to me a few years ago it took me three calls until I got to someone that could unlock it from their end.

Yes ,

I am able to get someone to unlock the account but the problem is that I have to to do this every day as the account keeps locking.

I want the problem to be resolved so I don't get a daily lock out.

When mine locked they said was a security issue so is there anything that you can think of that is causing this, do you use a VPN for example ?

When my account was locked, it was due to my I.P. address changing many times in a short period (I had swapped ISP and the new router kept rebooting) so is it possible something similar is happening to you?

Almost certainly something is triggering a security alert.

If you responded to an email stating your account would be closed unless you upgraded then you gave scammers your log in details & most likely they're locking you out by changing the password. I would scan your pc for malware using MalwareBytes & AdwCleaner. Ensure you're calling Sky direct using their official number rather than using the first number found via a search engine. 150 from a Sky landline or mobile or

03442 411 653 for email problems.

The account was locked and the number was a genuine sky tel number. This put me in touch with automated response saying my account was being unlocked or to a call handler in India.

After resetting I received emails from sky. Since then the emails have been from Yahoo.

I've not changed anything , router etc all the same.
