Outgoing server not working at all on IOS anymore.

Since the summer I've been having the occasional issue where I'm told the outgoing server isn't working. I'm on an iPad and using the IOS email system. I can receive but not send.

Each time I've had to jump through hoops to remove the email accounts (I have 3) and add them back in, because each time I'm made to change my passwords but that did the trick, until now. Now after removing and re-adding it lasts only about 24 hours before it goes again, so this is totally un-workable.

Is there a fix - please?! I've had these addresses for years and don't want to change.

There have been numerous reported problems on here with IOS devices of which there appears to be no fix so unless you are going to change to a different email app like Outlook instead give these settings a try:

Select either "Other" or "Not Yahoo" then use these settings:

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server

Server - imap.tools.sky.com
Port - 993
Requires SSL - Yes

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server

Server - smtp.tools.sky.com
Port - 465
Requires SSL - Yes
Requires authentication - Yes

You will then need to generate a 16 digit password and use that instead of your usual one, you can do that here:

Thank you. My settings do seem to be those. Regarding the passwords, they are are all super long but they are the same as my general sky log in passwords. Do they still have to be different from each other?
