Emails sent also go into drafts

Every time I send an email the message goes into drafts folder as well as the sent folder. I now have folders bulging with emails as everything is doubled up. How do I stop this?

Also, I have to type email addresses into every email I sent as although the addresses show (sometimes) in contacts it never automatically shows options when I start typing. This is so frustrating for people you have very regular contact with. I have followed what others say to correct this but nothing works. This plus any new email address is not automatically recored in contacts which used to happen.

Of course you can't get help from Yahoo you just go round in circles. Useless Company.

Do you have an filters set up that could be causing this ?

Not that I am aware of but a real thickie where all techy stuff is concerned. It just happened a while ago and I hadn't altered anything so I don't think so.

I did actually manage to find it on my own (wonders never cease!) but thanks for the advice it's much appreciated. The upshot though is, no filters.
