Cant access Yahoo mail from iMac. When signing in and code received on phone and entered on iMac messge sayes Failed to Authenticate.

If you're using the built-in Mail app, that's likely to be the cause. There's a frequently reported, intermittent problem with the app.

Yes and takes me direct to Sky. Normally have all accounts open on iMac but all Yahoo showing of line

Yes, but that's usually an "unable to connect to server" error.
