How do I exactly take off 2 step verification from email

On the log in screen click the 'can't sign in with the code' link. You'll then be prompted to enter the Recovery Code that was issued to you when you originally turned on 2 step verification. Doing so turns off the 2 step verification process.

The Recovery Code? It was sent to you by email so check your Inbox, Trash and Spam folders.

If you can't find it, I think you're snookered
