Email access - Verification

I set up the verification to access the email, each time I access the email on the laptop I await a code sent to my mobile. Its anoying as sometimes I dont have my phone to hand.

So I checked Sky community to see if I could find any help and I found that i could rest by entering the recovery code sent to my mobile. Found it, I typed in the recovery code and it says its incorrect.

Help 🙂

I want to tuen off the verfication for email access.

To turn off 2FA sign in with the recovery code so at the login select "can't sign in with verification code" link. You'll then be asked for the recovery code.

Hi, Yes, I tried this and when I enter the recovery code says its incorrect?

The recovery code is sent to you by email as well as being displayed on screen. Check the email copy.
