Cannot access my Yahoo Mail following log-in.

Our Sky Internet crashed last Thursday night27/7/23, and we lost TV, phone, and PC, but came back up during the night and we had the above all back on by Friday morning. But, on trying to get into Yahoo Mail on the PC, I kept getting the message

This page isn’t working

skyidapp.sky.com is currently unable to handle this request.

HTTP ERROR 500

This continued throught the day so I contacted Sky for help. Spoke to a Guy who took advice from someone and then confirmed that there were sky server issues re Yahoo Mail, but give it 24 to 48 hours and all should be ok. But today Monday 31/7 the same problem still exists, after many repeated attempts. I have still had access to Yahoo mail on my I-Phone without any issues thro Sky.

Spoke to Sky just now who sugested it might be a browser issue as I always access Sky thro Google for many years without any problems, but as was suggested turned PC off and waited for a short while, turned it on went into Sky clicked on Tahoo mail and got the same message as above.

I was then advised to try access through another browser which was EDGE and logged into Sky and then into Yahoo Mail and I was in with no problem. It was left as me to keep trying to get into Sky Yahoo mail thro Google which I will, as that is my preferred browser. So is there a real issue with Google-Sky-Yahoo?

I cannot believe that I am the only person with this issue, has anyone slse had this same problem?????

No, there's no generic issue with using Chrome to access Sky Yahoo Mail. Try closing any sky.com websites you have open, and then clear your browser cache via the Privacy and Security settings tab.

What device are you using Chrome on? If all else fails try removing the Chrome app and re-adding it.

Google is a search engine (and much more), but it's not a browser. The browser is Chrome.
