Blocked email addresses coming back

Hi all,

I keep blocking certain email addresses in Yahoo Mail using the Add facility in Help and Security but still keep getting emails from those same addresses - any ideas how to cure this please?

Are these spam emails that you are trying to block as it might be they are being sent from different addresses with slight changes in the address they are being sent from. If this is the case you could also try reporting them as spam.

The email address you seeing them as coming from might not be where they are actually coming from as spammer can spoof this to make it look like they are coming from a certain address when in fact they could be coming from a different one. Just keep reporting them.

Thanks. When I forward them on to NCSC they might show the "Sender" as different, but when I look in the email "properties" it's still showing an email address I have blocked. I currently have 699 blocked emails so could that folder be full despite Sky saying you can block 1,000?

It is never going to be possible to block every spam mail you receive which is why it is so important to keep reporting them as spam.

Why would anybody want to block 699 email address, let alone 1000?

I think you are completely misunderstanding the purpose of blocking email addresses.

It is not an anti-spam measure.
