email not syncing on iphone and pc

I am receiving emails on my iphone and also on my pc but I am deleting emails from my iphone but they still appear on my pc - there is no sync between them. This used to work fine.

I presume you have made no changes to the email account on your iPhone, if not do you use the Apple email app to access your email account as there are ongoing issues with it. You could try using the Outlook app instead using these settings:

Select either "Other" or "Not Yahoo" then use these settings:

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server

Server - imap.tools.sky.com
Port - 993
Requires SSL - Yes

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server

Server - smtp.tools.sky.com
Port - 465
Requires SSL - Yes
Requires authentication - Yes

You will then need to generate a 16 digit password and use that instead of your usual one, you can do that here:

My wife has a similar problem with her sky.com email address.

Her ipad uses Apple Mail by default and hence IMAP.

Her Samsung phone users Samsung email client set as IMAP.Deleting messages using Samsung deletes emails from ipad but messages deleted using Apple Mail on her ipad fails to delete messages from Samsung phone.

Has only started doing this recently.

I suspect this is part of the larger problem of Apple email apps not syncing with the Sky|Yahoo servers correctly.

As there doesn't seem to be a resolution to those currently, I can only suggest using a different app on the Apple device.
