iPhone Notifications

My iPhone email client is Yahoo through Sky

i use the Apple Mail app but no way can I get audible notifications for incoming mail

All my notification settings are On so can someone tell me if I should be getting alerts or am I wasting my time

Using other email programs everything works ok so that's why I suspect Sky

Difficult to understand your post, due I think to incorrect ~~technology~~ terminology.

An email client is the app/program you use to read your email. In your case it appears to be Apple Mail..

So when you say "Using other email programs everything works ok" do you mean when using other email acounts (i.e. not Sky|Yahoo) the audible alerts are heard?
