Hacked email

Email hacked. return email address changed to Hotmail which I deleted. Now I have no send address and everytime I enter my mine it says it already exists. Any clues as to how I can inform Yahoo of my send address would be much appreciated.

Email of course is not working, either sending or recieving.

Can you login to your account, if so you should be able to change your reply to email address (I presume this is what you mean) via settings - more settings - mailboxes - your Sky email address.

Many thanks tried that. I deleted the return to hotmail address and entered my address and removed the filter which was sending the hotmail emails to my deleted box. So far so good. Now it says I have no send address so when I enter my address it comes up in red saying that address is already in use?

How do I enter my address as the send address please.

Assuming you are using the webmail at https://skyid.sky.com/signin/email, you don't enter a send address, it is already there when you compose the email. It's the From address.

The send address is who you are sending to.

If you mean something else, or are trying to enter it elsewhere, please explain a bit more.

The only other place where you would use a "sending address" is here:

But you don't enter it, you select it from a drop down list. Like this:

But to have entries in there, you would have had to set up other addresses in Sky|Yahoo.

Thank you so much. For the first time someone has said and made everything simple so even an idiot like me can understand. I am now recieving emails and I can read them. However my ipad is still not receiving anything but that can wait. After two days on the keyboard I need a rest.
