Sky email stopped working again

I had this issue a few months ago and followed the instructions and generated a new password etc and it worked, this time I can't get it to work at all is anyone else struggling? I've noticed both times its stopped working are when I get a software update message. I've removed and re added the email account (using add other as yahoo just will not work full stop) and even that's not working....anyone that can help? Thanks

Which email app are you using? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling it?

Hi I'm using the apple mail, deleted and re-installed 😞

There have been problems ongoing with the Apple Mail app for several weeks. I haven't seen anything posted to suggest that Apple has fixed it yet. Check that IOS is up to date, but beyond that it's a matter of waiting, I'm afraid.

You'll still be able to use Sky Yahoo Mail fully if you log in via the Sky.com website, using your browser.

PS: I keep getting 2 messages, one saying password authorisation isn't accepted and then another saying cannot coonect using ssl - I am putting the newly generated password in too

Oh no - this has been going on so long, I've been ok for a few months now randomly its stopped again, it worked for an hour earlier then stopped again. I cant even use the yahoo app as it just says try again try again 😞

I didn't know you could for Sky? I'll download it and try that thank you - I assume you mean use the actual app not the generic apple mail icon

Tried outlook and just takes me to yahoo and get same message we can't process your request 😞

That is another on-going problem that doesn't have a resolution yet. Try using Outlook, but set it up as "not Yahoo" and use a generated password.

Thank you that's worked, just annoying my emails are all in one place now. Oh well there's always something changing.
