      <description>&lt;P&gt;Did you mange to resolve? I am getting exactly the same issue setting up my sky account on the Outlook app on my new Samsung S22 ultra phone. All worked perfectly with my Samsung Note 9 phone but this was set up prior to 2 stage authentication.&amp;nbsp; I have 2 stage authentication set up on Oulook on PC for my sky email account.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I know how to generate the password but when trying to register the sky account on the Outlook (Android) app it bombs out before I have chance to enter any password. I then have to wait 1 hour for another attempt but experience the same issues every time.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Sky are not using 2FA,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;With Outlook on Android there is no need to use a generated password, just use your normal password when authenticating to Yahoo. Make sure Outlook selects the account as Yahoo.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Understood.l and thanksfor replying.&amp;nbsp; However when the Oulook app directs to the Yahoo log-on page, I can enter my username but then before I can enter ANY password it bombs out and states there was an authentication error. I then have to wait 1 hour. Still confused. Any further help gladly received&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Just tried using Mail app on Windows 10 and it authenticated O.K., so the server must be up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Try using the Gmail app, that will need to be selected as other and use a generated password.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I have the Yahoo App on my phone and that works fine with the Sky e-mail and NO&amp;nbsp; 2 stage authentication.&amp;nbsp; Alos the Outlook App on my new Samsung S22 Ultra works great with my Hotmail Account (i.e. I have added and it is functioning) but as soon as I try to add the Yahoo/Sky account it bombs out before I even have chance to enter the password - and then states I have to wait 1 hour. So it can't be the Outlook App, surely there must be an issue with Outlook App &amp;amp; Yahoo server interoperablity.&amp;nbsp; Sky Community - any clues?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm having the exact same problem.&amp;nbsp; My sky email address, which I have had for years, worked fine on Outlook on my Google Pixel 6 until 2 days ago.&amp;nbsp; Then, it told me I needed to sign in again.&amp;nbsp; I have the same problem of being bombed out before I'm able to even try any sort of password - then have to wait an hour grrrr.&amp;nbsp; I've tried deleting account, uninstalling and re-installiung Outlook.&amp;nbsp; NOTHING works.&amp;nbsp; I started a tech support conversation but get a reply about once every 12 hours.&amp;nbsp; Did anyone find the cause of this?&amp;nbsp; OR better still, a solution?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You may be right but what's peculiar about this issue is that for me at least I have Outlook working fine on my PC with Sky/Yahoo email (albeit 2 stage authentication password needed) but the Outlook App on the phone won't work with Sky email on the mobile. Note it only bombs out when the Outlook App takes you to the Yahoo server and after entering Username it bombs I.e.wont let you enter a password. This appears to be a Sky/Yahoo issue rather than Outlook but I'm only a simple User !&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I agree - I have sky email running fine with Outlook on my Windows 11 PC / Office 365 Outlook.&amp;nbsp; I only set that up on a new PC on 2nd Jan using that app password thing online.&amp;nbsp; It's in Outlook for Android on my Google Pixel 6 (which worked fine until Jan 1st) where you just don't even get to the page that gives you the opportunity to enter any kind of password.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is it an issue for Microsoft / Outlook for Android or Sky/Yahoo.&amp;nbsp; I see lots of scope for each party to say 'not me gov!'.&amp;nbsp; As I say, Sky Tech Support told me yesterday they don't intend to support anything other than the Yahoo Mail app.&amp;nbsp; For me, that's not good enough.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
