Yes, it's a scam. There are no old versions of Sky Yahoo Mail.

That is a scam emails for two reasons, firstly if you hover (but don't click) the link it doesn't go to a Sky website and secondly there is no old version of Sky email so you will never have to update anything to do with it.

Mark this email as spam so it gets deleted and do the same should you be sent anymore.

Received an email supposedly from Sky saying 'Starting from December 10, 2022, Sky users who have not updated their email account will no longer be able to log in to their Sky through email addresses'.

'Customers will have to Verify their email address to confirm, kindly click on the link below and verify now! We apologize for any inconvenience caused'.

I've had this email address for many years and never been asked to verify. When you click it asks for email address and password. I'm very suspicious of this, is this a scam?

Yes. There's nothing to update and nothing requiring confirmation.

Mark that email as spam @David+golf and do the same should you receive anymore as it is a classic spam email that has been doing the rounds for years. As there is never a need for you to update anything when you access your emails online via the Sky website.
