No Yahoo email account from Sky!

Why is Sky no longer offering Yahoo Mail accounts? When I've tried to get one it just says :

Anyone know why??

They stopped issuing new email accounts a long time ago. Why? I don't think they said.

They stopped allowing customers to open a new email account quite a few years ago now and to be honest they are probably doing you a favour as Yahoo who run Sky email are not the best in my view so you would be better off opening an account elsewhere.

Sorry to post on an old tread but im new to the Sky community as just about to move from BT FTTC to Sky Superfast with Sky Broadband Boost.

I stopped using Yahoo services a good few years ago. I think the only Yahoo service that I still use is there Yahoo Weather app.

I used to have a Yahoo Mail account as a back up to my Hotmail account but replaced my Yahoo Mail account with a Google Mail account a good few years ago as my back up account.

Yahoo is no longer as popular as it once was. Plus Yahoo Mail was not the best.
