I keep receiving emails puporting to be from sky. the address is always a private one. How do I know if this is genuine.

Please be aware there are lost of scam emails out there emulating companies like sky stating things such as your email account needs to be upgraded etc. If sky send any email they don't have links to follow. Do any of these email ask you to click a link for any reason? They wouldn't use a personal email address either.

Then it is not from Sky, it's spam/scam.
