I have gone in through sky rather thank the email function I had used previously and they are all still there 😀. I cannot tell you how relieved I am

I have a Yahoo email account. I had a message to update my password and did it on holiday abroad a few weeks ago as I needed to access my emails. when I came home had a message on my email account on my lap top to say settings out of date and to update. Kept getting an error message to say couldn't do this and looked up guidance for that message and it said I had to delete my account off the lap top and re set it which I did. My lap top and phone were synced and I have now lost all my emails I had saved in sub folders, both on phone and lap top, some of which are important for work. Unfortunately this was over 7 days ago. Trying to navigate help is a nightmare and it looks like you have to pay to speak to someone from Yahoo support. Tried to send a recover emails request but very basic online form with drop downs only which don't really cover what I need. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I assume you mean a Sky Yahoo email account. Are you able to log in via the Sky.com website, and if so are your folders there intact?

@CAB285

You will be able to your clients/apps working on your devices, by using a generated password instead of your account password in those apps/clients. See here: Problems accessing your Sky.com email from your email app | Sky Help | Sky.com

I'm a bit worried about where the request to change your password came from as, if it was an email, it may have been a scam. Check your email account carefully in case there have been any changes. You may like to change it again via this link: https://skyid.sky.com/resetpassword/email "just in case".
