Sky email not working. Cannot pick up emails on iPhone mail app

I have tried resetting the password and deleting / reloading the account but it doesn't work. The Sky / Yahoo system repeatedly asks me to ID myself, takes me through security and then says neither username nor password are recognised. Can still pick up emails on my PC (Outlook) but still very frustrating. All my family have lost access to their emails.

Are they all having the same problem? Does it only occur when they are connected to the router, but O.K. on a mobile connection?

Hi, our iPhones no longer pick up emails whether on Wi-Fi or mobile data. I've tried deleting and re-adding the account but Yahoo doesn't recognise the Sky ID. I also can't even log into sky for the same reason.

And yet Outlook is still working? Try using the Outlook app on your iPhones, see if that works.

It is very strange that all the accounts are not working.

OK thanks I'll try that. But I also can't log in to the Sky website as it's not recognising my user name or password!

That is unlikely as the different email addresses have no real relation to each other, and if there was a problem with the Yahoo service we would have a lot more complaints on here.

Try clicking the Yahoo mail option in the drop down menu under your name in the top right hand corner.

Then try the same thing with one of the other accounts.

My sky email suddenly isnt connecting to my ipnone mail app & also on my apple macbook. I have tried loads of times to put my email & passcode in but it just states that "no password provided for sky" please go to mail account settings and enter a password.

I can see my emails on the yahoo app and can log in on a computer via sky.

Ive re started my phone, made sure my phone is up to date its currently running on IOS 15.5

deleted the sky account & re entered but no joy!

You will need to reinstall the account into your apple devices, making sure it is recognised as a Yahoo account, or replace your current password on those devices with one you can generate here: https://www.sky.com/sky-yahoo-mail/manage-apps
