Issues accessing sky email through imap and need for app password generator

Hello, I'm grappling with my sky email account. Autoforward was discontinued as a feature. App password generation also is deactivated. I'm trying to find a 3rd party to service to copy my sky email into my Gmail, so my email sits in one place, but none of those services use Oauth, just imap - and imap doesn't work without app password generator. Is there any chance of this being re enabled? Yahoo still has it so it's very unclear to me why sky do not.

You could try using Thunderbird as your email client as that uses OAuth2 authentication meaning you can use your usual email password and also move the emails a Gmail account that you should be able to add to it.
