Error message with Sky Yahoo mail

Starting a new broadband and tv contract with Sky today and since speaking to them my Yahoo Mail now showing an error message so can't get emails. Need help sorting it out. I'm not tech savvy

I am having the same issue and see the same error message.
no changes to my account, or my broadband, just suddenly stopped working around 4pm

today.

my password I correct as I can log in on iPad and using a web browser, but it's not working on my phone!
is this an issue with others too, and maybe not linked to your broadband changes?

A possible fix from the Apple forum:

Go into mail app and into the account that’s not working. tap the mail slider to off position. wait a second or two and then flip it back on; it will prompt you to log in.

Is that an actual Yahoo email (ending in @yahoo.com/co.uk) or a Sky|Yahoo account?

Are you using an Apple device?

I managed to verify my mail account. I have an @Sky.com email address, but tried using the yahoo mail provider from the list, still using my sky email address and this has worked for me.

not sure why it wouldn't verify it initially or why I had to change it to yahoo, but at least it's working again.

It doesn't work if you select Sky, because the Sky servers aren't OAuth compatible;

Some apps use the Yahoo servers, even if you select Sky, but some don't.
