Sky email not getting any spam at all

I was getting around 10 - 20 spam emails per day in my spam folder. Occassionaly I get genuine email in my spam so retrive that and delete the rest. Now I am getting no spam at all - I was expecting several emails from a genuine contact (new) this week and have been assured they have sent the emails but I did not receive them or any spam.

I get regular email from a relatives care home that are important that always go in my spam folder BUT now I will miss them.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

As well as checking the spam folder have you also looked in your bin folder ?

Thanks for your reply. Yes checking laptop and phone - followed all instructions from AI search but no luck.

@PeterO1 it looks like any mail spam identified by Sky as spam is being deleted before it reaches your email account. It has been that way for me for several years.

I suspect, unfortunately that if you haven't been marking genuine emails as 'not spam', you may no longer see them. You might have to provide an alternative email address for those emails.

Unless anyone else has any ideas....?

I can't think of any reason why spam may be being deleted instead of appearing in the spam folder.

I would however suggest checking there is nothing in your block list.

Settings - More settings - Security and privacy.
