    <description>&lt;P&gt;I want to access my email account .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am no longer with sky.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They have the wrong mobile number for me and keep sending a verification code to it which I can't use so I can't get on my emails .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How do I sort this out?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Please let me know if you have any joy&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/4717336"&gt;@RA284&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I spent a long time on the phone to Sky yesterday with the same issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Looks like Yahoo have made 2-factor verification mandatory even though I never received an email or message to say that was going to be the case.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's then completely messed up the contact details. A lot of people not getting the text codes to the mobile, even though the numbers look correct.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And they're not in the Spam queues of the Messaging app either.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Unless they find a fix, I would think Sky/Yahoo will have to disable 2-factor verification for a period of time so people can then set it up properly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Otherwise, tens of thousands of users will have redundant email addresses.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That is clearly not acceptable when the fault lies with Sky and Yahoo.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

The 2FA system used in each case is not the same.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I agree that the way it was implemented by Sky wasn't great.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;From the activity here, I doubt that the number of customers not receiving the Verification Code when it is sent to the correct mobile number is small. I doubt it stretches into tens of thousands and I doubt Sky will disable 2FA for a second time.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Anyone not receiving a Verification Code when it is sent to the correct number should contact Sky.&lt;/P&gt;
