ID sky yahoo email

My husband has recently passed away, I have transferred the sky account into my name but my sky.com email is still showing my husband's name as the ID - when I send an email it has my late husband's name at the top. I have changed the ID on the ID details on the sky yahoo site but it hasn't changed it. I have made four phone calls to Sky but no-one is able to help in changing it. The account was created 25 years ago.

You won't be able to change the ID part of the email address, i.e. the part before the @ Sky.com.

The email address was your husband's and you can't get it transfered to your name, neither can you get a new Sky email address as they no longer issue those.

However, if the ID part of the email is not too specific to your husband, you can get the email to show your name as the sender.

You would do that by loging into the email account (I assume you know the password) and going to:

Settings - More settings - Accounts - Mailboxes, and selecting the Sky mailbox. There you will find a section headed "Your name" and you can change it to whatever you want.
